Gerd and Urs create online configured bathroom furniture - as individual as made by a carpenter but at the price of industrially produced mass furniture. Due to the digitalization of the configuration and order data, the data can be sent directly to the CAM system of the furniture factory close to the customer. Thus, time is saved, transport costs are significantly reduced and it is good for the environment. After a successful development phase of the configurator with focus on professional users (bathroom studios), Bacombe is now helping to scale the business model and build up the end customer business (B2C).
After years of professional experience in the start-up scene and working in corporate venture builder programs, Denise realized that she wanted to become a founder herself. In August 2020, Denise launched finance, baby! with a mission to reduce poverty in old age for women and create equal opportunities through financial education and awareness, even though she herself does not come from a financial background, but from a communications background. Her goal was to create something that would inspire women and be different from anything that had gone before.
BIMcosmos GmbH, an ambitious software company, was founded in Hamburg in 2022. The company is revolutionizing collaboration in construction and infrastructure projects through digitalization around a BIM model. Its aim is to create a consistent platform for all parties involved in the construction process, from planning to demolition, and to make all processes accessible in one digital location. Alexander, as Managing Director of BIMcosmos, is primarily responsible for sales and marketing due to his long history in national and international sales of CAD software products in the building construction sector.
Julian and Robin founded Bamboo Digital Ventures with the vision of harmonizing sustainability and capitalism. With their expertise in agile and data-driven digital sales, they are opening up opportunities never seen before in the venture capital market to identify and evaluate business potential and scale it profitably with minimal financial risk. With Bacombe, they have a strong partner and investor at their side to turn their vision into reality.
